Nationwide COVID-19 restrictions in Costa Rica for NYE
The National Emergency Commission (CNE) just announced new, national restrictions for Costa Rica, starting December 31, 2020. On Wednesday, the CNE declared that there will be new regulations in place, beginning on New Years Eve and extending into the new year of 2021.
New Years Eve (December 31st) COVID-19 Restrictions
On December 31st, there will be a nationwide vehicle restriction for all of Costa Rica. Starting at 7PM on December 31st, until 5AM on January 1st, driving will be prohibited throughout all of Costa Rica. All non-essential commercial businesses are also required to close at 7PM on New Years Eve.
